The work from home option adopted after covid 19 pandemic has given many companies. A new way to save costs and get the work done now Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has told its staff vast majority can still continue to work from home until next year well this is despite the British government’s decision the last week to scrap guidance encouraging people to work from home from next month prime minister Boris Johnson said on Friday he hoped Britain could return to normality by Christmas, and gave employers more direction on returning staff to offices providing it was safe to do so from first of next month reports said.
RBS has told about 50,000 of its employees will continue to work from home until 2021.
Around 10,000 of RBS staff are working in branches and some offices, 95 of which are open since the pandemic.
In June, 400 more staff members were asked to return to office. And they were ordered to take precautions like only two people per lift, thermal imaging temperature checks and one-way systems in corridors.
